Sakura-Con Day 1

So we're about to head off to the con. I have my black YST tshirt on. It has the 5 Troopers in their "I just armored up" pose standing in front of the helmet of the White Armor with their armor symbols on top. Going to put my wolf ears and tail on to see how it looks. (My "barely there" cosplay.)

We're hoping to see:
Hideo Okamoto Q&A (YST Yoroi designer)
Penny Arcade Q&A
Anime Art Basics Day 1
Want to attend "When bad fics attack" but the first 30 mins overlap with Anime Art Basics

Maybe attending:
Life as an American in Tokyo
Learn to Tango (Good luck getting my fiance to agree to it.)

Might watch:
Heroic Legend of Arislan 1-2
Riding Bean
Death Note

Of course this hasn't taken into account time conflicts between the panels and the movie showings.
And sometime hope to hit the vendor area.

Hey at least it's all in 1 hotel as opposed to 4 in DragonCon.

Hello. My name is Christine. You did not kill either of my parents. Prepare to.. uh... Line?

I work full-time at a state college as a Library Technical Assistant, which is a fancy title that means I catalog books. I do not yet have my Master's Degree (thus why the 'assistant' word on the end of the job title).

During March of 08 I started developing various health issues, and alas some are ongoing. As such my free time has been nil ever since then as I've either been going to appointments, getting tests done, resting, being stressed out, etc. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things soon.
